Nobili Spa, Bologna, Italy

Cladding on the southern façade of the building in Molinella (BO), Italy, owned by Nobili S.p.a., a leader in agricultural mechanization which designs, manufactures and markets trenchers, sprayers and elevators worldwide.
Designed by the Gresleri architectural studio of Bologna, Italy, the façade achieves a vertical texture created with SPACE and LINE panels, both with and without joints in anthracite 7016 and laid using 3 interdistances: 200-320-430 mm, staggered between the 3 levels, divided by the row of windows and trimmed by protruding separator profiles that emphasize the 3 areas.
The central part, under the sign bearing the corporate logo, was created by horizontally laying WWLINE525 panels in pure white 9010; the marquise structures covering the 4 entrance ways were produced using WWLINE300 panels laid perpendicular to the façade wall.
The ceilings of the 4 marquise canopies and the entire lower portion of the façade have been installed using the exclusive, internationally patented WWRev Clips, thus making it possible to inspect the passages for the marquise lighting and rainwater drainage systems and, if necessary, easily repair any panels in the lower section — the section subject to the greatest risk of impacts and damage due to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
In addition, the ventilated façade system used considerably reduces the power needed to maintain the degree of comfort inside.
